I'm right there with ya! I run and hide. I haven't seen my sister since early this year and won't see her 'till just before Thanksgiving. She is obsessive about politics along with other things. How we have the same parents and gene pool amazes me.

Lord help my family if her "guy" doesn't win. And she is from Ohio, a swing state. Oy.

I know exactly what your talking about, my dad is crazy like that its constant politics all day long. He will freak if the guy he wants doesnt win.

Off the top of my head I can think of about 50 scandals of Evangelistic Christians in my lifetime. Brain then wanders to the Priests dumped into our area when they do bad things elsewhere. Yep, not a fan of organized religion. There is a reason why churches were formed after the bible was compiled before that it was metaphorical.

I like the philosophy of Sunday being the Day of Rest, if it was good enough for Him, who am I to argue. Problem started when peeps turned the word Christian which was a noun in the Bible into a verb. Then all Heck broke loose.

Actually the Bible is a great piece of literature that people before us and after will kill others over their interpretation. Much like people who read science fiction.

We are non affiliated, straight bible. LOL, no rules, just relationship. All organizations/orders have scandals from the schools to the denominations to the unions and on. We are Rhema, straight out. I won't do organized religion ever again. Just open worship, bible message. This is the lovely thing about America, no mandates, true freedom.
