I have a friend who has a friend, her doberman is expecting puppies. I may get a male, maybe and yes, his name will be Darth. She would love to have 2, so she can name one Malificent. The daddy dog is 145, the momma is 130, big dogs.

So you gave away your last big dog because your husband wanted it to live outside and you didn't have time to walk it, play with it. So you were going small next time. Those critters take a lot of training and love to chew on stuff, any stuff. What am I missing? I don't want to pinch you unnecessarily.

Well, the last one was quite a while ago, about 3-4 years. The garage is nearly done and DH will help with this one, and we will take her to work, to stay on top of training. Plus, DD is now old enough to do her share. We also have a friend who trains dogs and he will help us with the potty training and discipline, and indoor manners so the dog can be inside some as well. Took me a while to talk DH into that deal. His main issue is the dog smell in the house cause it took a year to get the poodle smell out from the previous owners-they took in rescue poodles and we had to pull the carpet to get the odor out. Dods are not noted for odor, and bathing is fairly easy when started early.

This does all depend upon the trainer checking the parents out over the next weeks. Any signs of aggression and we will have to wait and find a breeder.

So glad it is election day and all the ads and such will soon be over. It is too long with nearly 2 years of the yapping.

Off to get DD to school and then go vote and go to work. Should be an interesint evening. But we are going to church for a worship seminar with Daniel Groves. Sweet!!!

Manchester is 35 miles away from me... I was there with work last night as that is where one of our major servicing depots is for our trains

Very, very cool. Cara and Brian are part of a ministry team there. She is loving the tea and climate and adjusting to how long some things take versus here. But they both love it a lot there.

They are my happy place. I like my friends here, even when we don't always agree and I like the global contact. And if Lou ever started posting again, that would be even more awesome.

The voting lines were long, and the people were antsy, but we had 11 amendments to vote on and a whole slew of state candidates for state supreme court and such, took about 7 minutes to finish my ballot, and I had a cheat sheet and didn't need to read every amendment.

I read all of the amendments last night, so I would know what to mark and didn't have to try to figure it out in the polling place.

One lady had been there over 40 minutes cause she had to read and figure out each one while she was there.

So nice to see long, long lines though. Happy that so many are taking the responsibility seriously.

here in CT, we have sample ballots in the area before you go to check in so one can read what is needed to be read so one does not hold up the lines

I know exactly what your talking about, my dad is crazy like that its constant politics all day long. He will freak if the guy he wants doesnt win.

That is how my Sis is. She is obsessive compulsive and annoying (nice way to say it) to be around. But anything she involves herself with she is OCD about. But I live in IL and she is in OH, we have Indiana as a buffer between us.
