If you were gaurnteed a full time secure job at WDW and had comfortable living close by (upto an hour away say), would you do it?

In a heartbeat. Unfortunately with Disney that is a daydream for a good chunk of employees. Pay and benefits really stink for the vast majority. They do receive some nice perks though, 20% off most things, 40-60% off rooms and dining plans. Holiday 40% shopping/dining and coupons to use in park for freebees. They also just had free preview with food coupons at BoG. But when it comes to paying your rent, car payments etc., it isn't that easy.

That is sad. The West is so pretty. I Honeymooned in Cali and enjoyed every minute of our time there. DL and Universal especially. I visited the Spruce Goose and even stayed a night on the permanently docked Queen Mary. Oodles of fun.

here in CT, we have sample ballots in the area before you go to check in so one can read what is needed to be read so one does not hold up the lines

That is nice. They print one in the paper that we do not take, and so, I went online and made a fast yes/no sheet.

I wish we had sample ballots. We do online, but they usually don't print out in a readable fashion.

I agree, the West Coast is amazing from top to bottom and over a bit. We drove from LA to Winslow, Arizona, other direction to Vegas, north into SanFran and I have been up to Seattle. It is all amazing.

That is how my Sis is. She is obsessive compulsive and annoying (nice way to say it) to be around. But anything she involves herself with she is OCD about. But I live in IL and she is in OH, we have Indiana as a buffer between us.

We are non affiliated, straight bible. LOL, no rules, just relationship. All organizations/orders have scandals from the schools to the denominations to the unions and on. We are Rhema, straight out. I won't do organized religion ever again. Just open worship, bible message. This is the lovely thing about America, no mandates, true freedom.

I don't get it. If there aren't any rules for the church or school is it a free for all? If it isn't organized church how do you decide who gets paid what, set a budget, pay bills, hire teachers, grades, dress code?

My DD attends University of Illinois, in Champaign Urbana IL, central IL, heavily republican farmland.
The students who live in apartments can register to vote in Champaign, unlike the dormed students. A good chunk of this liberal University would likely vote democrat in this republican county and many of the locals are not amused. Today, the vast majority of students going to cast their votes this morning were turned away by the election judges saying they were not legally registered. By 7am there were so many complaints filed by students for intimidation and interfering with voting the board of elections had to send officials out to watch over the judges.


One student was so upset in my DDs 930 am class that he wasn't allowed to vote and had a voters registration card that the professor released class early and escorted any student wanting to vote to the polls to insure the students would be given a ballot.


At my polling place this morning the paper ballot counter was broken and not feeding in ballots. You could wait or just leave your ballot with judge. Right#@$


In my sisters polling place in Ohio, electronic computer voting, you could only vote for the republican presidential choice, it would not accept the click for democrat, it bounced back to republican.


No matter what side of the coin you land, this is certainly an interesting day in the good ole USA.
