Howdy gang!
Big weekend here with the inaugural Formula 1 US Grand Prix bein' held at the new track.
Lakeline Mall, The Domain, and Barton Creek Mall were packed to the rafters yesterday. :dizzy:
F1 fans from Italy, Austria, the UK, etc., etc., etc., are here and all the hotels are sold out.
It's kinda' crazy-cool! :D
I'm doin' an open-close (only noon-6p on Sundays) here at the Domain bs, and then I'll be sketchin' later.
Owner of bs is at the race. Ticket prices for the stands started at $1,000. :faint:
From what I could tell on my helicopter ride when we orbited over the track it looked really cool, but I've since also seen pictures of it from ground level and it looks even cooler with a bunch of elevation changes that everyone, including the drivers, seem to like.
Although it'll probably be a VERY long time before we can ever afford to go, I hope it continues to thrive over the years. Really cool for our silly city.
Interesting pants. Wonder if he is colorblind, one red shoe one blue.
And he wonders why Selena dumped him? Ewe.
