We are going to my mom's house. We are bringing the rolls and pies. Can't wait from some dressing!

Ahhhh. One of the busiest days of the year for air travel and Ohare and Midway fogged in. Planes being cancelled by the hundreds. Yep this is going to mess up the grid nationwide.

Best friend flew into ohare yesterday from gainesville and surprised her family for Thanksgiving. I was the only one who knew she was going to be on a plane so I texted her to keep me updated on her flight staus- expected her to be pretty delayed. She actually got in early.

My Christmas dress this year

Super cute.

Made a pecan pie, cherry pie, rolls for tomorrow, a buttermilk pie, a pie crust for DD to make a pumpkin pie. I also made hamburger patties. Cleaned up the kitchen multiple times but about to go back in there because I need to make cinnamon rolls and a cheese ball before going to bed.

Holy cow, you were busy. Sounds delish though. My whole family goes over to my grandpa's the night before and prepares whatever can be made early. We all split it up and it gets done pretty fast.

I don't think Black Friday sales should begin on Thursday.

Me either, I feel for those poor employees. Thankful I don't work in retail.

Now watching the last part of To Kill a Mockingbird.

I have been completely terrified of E.T. since I was little. No idea why. I used to have nightmares about him standing right next to my bed and reading the newspaper while I was sleeping. Oy.

I have done them both. It is very cute and plenty of photo-ops. Themed excellent. Yet I found it to be way, way too easy. It does keep the groups moving however the ball practically roll into the hole because they were designed and pitched to do just that.

My favorite is Fantasia Gardens by Swan/Dolphin.

Same here. Put on my new jeans and I feel fancy enough, lol. My family usually keeps our holidays going so late into the night that I often bring my pj pants along with me.

So what are everyone's plans for Thanksgiving tomorrow?

I was scheduled to work, but got sent home early yesterday due to being sick and had to call in today. So I'll head for my grandpa's later, probably spend a good amount of time sleeping on the couch. Not thrilled about feeling yucky, but it still beats having the Shingles like I did last Thanksgiving.

I hear ya. Getting everything to fit into my grandpa's fridge last night was like solving a difficult puzzle.
