so the "state of the school" tonight was interesting.

unfortunatly only bout 30 people showed up, more than half that was faculty...not many parents at all! disappointing. we have like 85 familes at the school, they were hoping more than half would come.

well maybe next meeting.

so basically the meeting was about us needing to raise money for the school to meet our expenses...and the 1st step is to contact alumni. so we will see what happens...they were talking bout newsletter, fb, emails. since i am new most of what they were saying is new and kinda upsetting when you think about it.

the principal laid out some big numbers. kinda scary.

Don't worry yourself. The other families have likely sat through it before, it is normally the same 'ole gloom and doom speeches. If it comes down to doomed, it is completely out of your control. The diocese has closed two schools out west and even when the parents raised a good chunk of the money the diocese closed them anyhow to consolidate.

My advice would be to pay attention but not to get to vested with your emotions, these meetings are very hard-boiled. That is why parents don't come, they see it once or twice and skip it.

Family and friends celebration!! I'm not crazy enough to just go with family. They may get pushed overboard!! My Disney friends keep me sane! Well, as sane as I can be with Tracy around.

it's too early to be this cold

YEP!! We had wet snow yesterday. Nothing stuck but this morning it's 25 out!! Brrrrrrrr!

Ordered new running shoes last night. These ones are pink and black. I'm getting crazy now!!

Good morning. Sorry ear was bad yesterday. It felt like it wanted to pop but didn't. Tried the blow dryer. Slept on heating pad helped more. Did a small work out no jumping or Pilates moves. Now off to work.

Poor thing. Hope you start to feel better soon. I rarely cook when I can't taste or smell, Lord would only know what it tasted like, especially for guests.



I was going to ask Santa for the Audio's for Christmas. Now I think I'll wait until they are edited or new additions come out.

Cousin said she was well fed, they loved it. DH asked me to make another of the pie tomorrow, lol. Dd bought the guides for me last Christmas. I love them.

I got a new phone last night and she is a smart phone. My kids have IPhones, but I'm holding out. I work from home so I really don't need one and I just can't keep adding expenses until college is over for them.

I got a new phone in July the Droid Charge as the new iPhone wasn't out &dh needed to get a phone. Hence I get the new, lol. Next one he said maybe iPhone . But co workers doesn't work in our office not sure which version it is. That would not be good, droid works for me in office.
