Yeah, DD University is in the heart of corn and soybean fields. There is a few square miles of University and Urban areas that have really multiplied during the last decade. Unfortunately those are all minimum wage retail type jobs and little else beyond the hospitals and those jobs are pretty educationally specific.
While there are always crime reports around her University it seems to always escalate at the very end of a semester or just before one starts. I'm glad she isn't there until Friday this time. Last week, early evening a dude with a gun pulled a girl off her bike by her purse. This weekend a girl literally walking out of the engineering library in early evening. Week before that in the underground library (entrance ground level) girl coming out the door got punched in the face and robbed. So a late night final has her a bit distracted both getting there and back.

I have 5 A's and 1 D+. Exams start the week after I get back so my D will finally go up a little ( it's in my hardest class). Then after exams I have about 2 1/2 months before I start internships.

5 A's is nothing to sneeze at. Very Nice. :thumbs:

Wow the illini are doing really good. I have not been keeping up as good this year because we went to WDW just as it started.

Everyone at school today was grumpy. I feel like it is going to be like this all week because normally tomorrow is our last day but this year our head guy is making go till Friday... You know what that means.... movies all week except for the 3 periods through out the week I have tests. Tomorrow I have an algebra one, Wednesday I have a Psych test and Thursday I have a Your Life test. Which are pretty much blow off classes.

Made banana nut bread and a chocolate pie where I didn't cook the filling enough. More like chocolate soup but real good. Also made spaghetti and froze the extra. Not bad for feeling really icky.

Yep, basketball, much better :bouncy: than Illini football did. :faint: But football team will get new uniforms next year so that will fix the football team. :cookoo:

ohhh AP classes are a bite. So in your school is an AP course grade weighted higher, like a D+ is really weighted to a C+ ?

And my DD is safely back in her dorm after her 3 hour math test. Said it was like a 100 degrees in there and engineers couldn't get the temp to drop. Nothing like a sauna while taking a 3 hour test.
