It will stay hot until March, but hopefully it will cool down just a little by the end of next month. I'm sick of it being in the 40s (110+). I would give anything for it to be late 20s!!

Oy. I love warmth, right now that warmth, not so much. Speaking Aussie again, what is a jetty?Yesterday was much cooler, thank goodness. We walked for about an hour up the esplanade, and on to the jetty, then turned round and walked back to the car.
On our really hot days, our nights have been quite humid, and I've been finding it difficult to sleep. Unfortunately, that comes with the territory of living in the driest state on the driest continent on Earth
Our friend isn't getting the no shoe thing. Dumbfounded.

Well welcome back. Glad it is all coming together for you and a trip is happening. Usually late August through the end of September is Free Dining and then sometimes strange times in October. Last year some hotels didn't include free dining.

My sons twitter picture right now is him in his Easter ensemble when he was 1 1/2. No idea where he found that photo. Straw hat, suit and a tie. To dang cute. Blond hair, looked like a Precious Moment, same hair style.

My realization of the day:
The moment when you realize your parents have lost their filters and you can't decide which one is the saner of the two. Oy.
Yet is was nice to see my Sis and niece today. I got my Christmas present from Sis, a pair of shoes from "The Walking Store" wanted forever but wouldn't dream of paying that while I have a kid in college.

yes, being that big we call it a pier. it's smaller versions we call a jetty, at least in my part of the USThis is a jetty. I think you might call it a pier though, not sure.
