The firm hired me back. I start next Monday. Those of you here that know me know how important this is to me, but, even more so it's about my loving wife and children. Thanks to Gabe and Chris (wherever you are Chris- I hope you might see this and hope you and your family are well) and everyone else who sent good wishes our way.
I can't even put into words just how blessed and grateful I feel, and how excited I am.
Just thought some of you would like to know.

Going to the parade.

Not so slow of a work day around here, up early dealing with snow again, so much for global warming as it has been really cold and snowy the last month minus a few grand days of flooding rain. And then a heavier work day. Better than not making money though!
I'm a bit smooshed. I had two days of non vehicle related accidents this weekend. One involved our larger snow blower going airborne, flipp'n trapping me and wedging it's mouth between me, a chainlink fence and garage. It wasn't pretty and I had to text my DD at school to find someone to free me. I was immediately able to reach the key to shut it off. It could have been much worse.
Last evening in route to do my civic duty for a neighbor, walking or actually airborne flying I hit black ice. It is amazing how slow time can go by until impact. Seems I've sprained a few things, bloodied a few things and have an ugly knee now that resembles an elementary school kids knee while falling down.
