Cooking breakfast, actually cooking the bacon on a sheet tray in the oven.

Mmm bacon. I love bacon. Only 5.5 hours until breakfast!

Seems a LOT of stores are gonna' be gettin' fined for closin' before 10p tonight. The fines aren't cheap...hope it was worth it...and to some, it probably was, actually.

Crate and Barrel here always closes on Labor Day and puts up a big sign in their window, stating it is Labor Day! Fine I am sure is worth the good will and public perception.

Got distracted...
Had a rat trap set in the garage all day, and not even a nibble. Reloaded just a bit ago and not 5 mins. later...SNAP!

I actually have the day "off" tomorrow, unless I get called in . Need to do the front brakes, this time, on youngest DD's truck, so I'll try to get that outta' the way as early as possible just to be able to chill a bit later.
No, wait...who am I kiddin'...my honey-do list is as long as both of my arms and at least two other guys...!

A Sunday, the day of rest, off?

I have 3 urgent items on my DH Honey-do list that must be done today.
Those have been on the must do list for over a week or two. Busy, busy.

Hate when this desktop acts up...
Maybe someday we'll all just be able to access all of our computer needs from a chip in our heads, and that'll take care of that.

Amen to that. Ours is up, but not decorated yet. DD doesn't get to do that until she gets the diorama project done. Today, probably.

With our new front area the tree doesn't fit any longer. Now a small one.

Ew, I have mouse traps out, thankfully, no snap.

We in years past have had issues in the detached garage. DH now leaves Decon around the garage and little dishes of antifreeze to wash it down.

Dh usually googles the vehicle, and answers come up about whether it is safe to do that. His pickup has hydraulic brakes and the hydraulic pump went out, the dealership bypassed the pump and the brakes work great, without a $1400 part that even they said was extraneous.

Our mechanic is pretty darn good at reinventing work done on the Towncar. When the weird suspension system went and the car bounced like Tigger, it was going to be a fortune. He found a real cheap correction. Amen.

I've never cook bacon in the oven. How is that with the splatter factor?

Oh No! It took me so long to grow mine out I swore I'd never do that again, every once in a while I get the urge but so far I have resisted.

I cut the length a bit shorter than I normally do. Now waiting for it to grow a tad longer. Needs a trim but afraid.

I really try to block out the ewe factor of airplanes. They get a lick and a promise, just too gross to really think about it.

How long have you been married?

It'll be 15 years on New Years Eve. I wanted to be in WDW on NYE but getting in January 4th works for me! We're going to have dinner in "our restuarant" Same one we ate in on our honeymoon.

Plus I'm making a slide show of our wedding pictures and a few from Disney trips.

Upside: Need the rain.
Downside: That bites, 'cause now things are pilin' up even more.

On the UPPERside: DW gets off from work at 1:00p so, at some point this afternoon, we're gonna' go see The Muppets!!!!!

This feels just plain weird havin' a day off.

Hopefully we'll have a good rainy winter so the wildflowers will be off-the-charts FINE come springtime.
