    Some people are like Slinkies.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

As good as some of those Chefs are, I can't envision them having the personality to be on Iron Chef. Monotone personalities.

Oh boy, someone is fortunate that Tracy is out of town. Sometimes you just have to click out of a train wreck of a thread.

[QUOTE=Keasmom;985526]Amen to that. Ours is up, but not decorated yet. DD doesn't get to do that until she gets the diorama project done. Today, probably.

What is all this crazy talk I keep hearing of being not-so-excited to get your Christmas trees up or decorated? I come from the nutty family who looks forward to Christmas year round.

[QUOTE=Keasmom;985527]Gabe, we lived in Waukegan when Gacy was active, dad was glad he had daughters as well.

My best friend just did a presentation on him for her forensic psychology class. Don't even wanna think of all the crazy, disturbing stuff I learned from her.

Interesting...never heard of anyone doing that. Nate likes to cook a yummy breakfast and he puts his bacon in the George Foreman grill. Turns out fantastic and squeezes some extra grease out.

Oh No! It took me so long to grow mine out I swore I'd never do that again, every once in a while I get the urge but so far I have resisted.

I cut the length a bit shorter than I normally do. Now waiting for it to grow a tad longer. Needs a trim but afraid.

Out of all the things there are to fear in life, hair cuts are at the top of my list. I loathe them. Have had some nightmarish experiences of it turning out too short. Of course, I'm sure I thought it was much worse that it actually was...but when it's your own hair it a terrible feeling to not feel comfortable in it. My main criteria is that is has to be able to go up in a pony tail so I can put it up for my sports games...no shorter than that. I've had two hairdressers who went all the way up to my chin after I gave those guidelines. I was NOT a happy camper.

What a good girl, especially since she is so young!

I love "sit" and "stay" with young pups, when they either slide down while sitting or stay, and they creep. Love puppies.

My DD and I were just talking about getting Walter a Basset for his Birthday. lol Me<-------kill<--------Husband.

Lol, I know what ya mean. My mom and I are always tempted to bring home a new pet when we see available puppies and kitties out somewhere...but then we remember what dad's reaction would be. Ironic though how his guidelines for getting the new pup were, "Okay fine, we can get a new puppy as long as she sleeps with me." He's a pushover.
