And likely too stupid to realize it too. How many years is that misdemeanor there?

Gotta say Robert Barone was pretty funny in this episode too.

Indeed he may have had an accident, that is possible. The rest of the judgement and abandoning ship etc. is unfortunate. Just the idea at this point media talking about how many years to lock him up for is premature. Given how long the locked the girl up for I fear more of a lynching verses fact finding.

Look how long it took OSHA and the NTSB to come to a conclusion on the monorail accident. There they have arrests in a matter of hours.
    Not setting right with me.
I think it may just be a "nod" to all the international crew and guest nations-appearing to be fast at holding the responsible party. It does seem a swift run to justice, but there are probably so many issues of not offending one or the other that their sense of caution is outpacing personal protection.

That is a guess, especially when dealing with the Phillipines and South korean folks-but just a guess on that. I am inclined to agree he needs a good attorney, sooner rather then later, and italian unions being what they are, he probably has one.

Suspect a LOT of this is out of deep concern for international concerns.

DH's main worry was DD and me. Just couldn't risk bullets with her in there, plus, it can't be taken back. So he kept his hand on the weapon in his holster, but never drew it, hoping the guy would do exactly what he did-run.

I hear around 35 years ago there was a Mr. Drucker's general store and a tiny pharmacy too. Guess the pharmacist went to jail and the grocery store burnt down, . The pharmacy went away shortly after we moved here. There was a hot dog stand right next to the tracks that served out the sliding window. That was still here when we moved here. Gone now too.

Our building is two parts, 4000 square foot each, giant concrete wall between, with a giant split door made of steel, that can open in standard door for daily use and full open to pull a car in or out of the showroom.

Bad guy was in the back, we were up front, behind concrete, a series of storage and restroom spaces and the steel door, BUT there is no telling the bullet power. The mechanic DH hired had some stuff that would go thru that wall and door, no problem, I am certain bad guys have access to the same stuff.

So it was just a scary morning, and two delays later, still waiting on sentencing, then his mom is threatening a lawsuit. So fun times. irony,

My Little Hamlet has a few more people and even less businesses now on Main Street than it did when we moved out here.
