I just realised who you are!! Sorry, Steve!! Why the name change?

No worries! Sorry here...I've been remiss about updating my profile and things.
It was somethin' I thought of and have been wanting to do for a long time, actually, but it always seemed to get lost in the mix. The new yera seemed perfect for it, finally. It was a surprise for my DW...she is "minietoo" on here so I thought I would change my user name to "mickeytoo". I like the new name better and she loves it!

A middle age lady has owned it forever. I'll tip toe through this...a nice 40-ish spinster, till she married a gentleman from the middle east.
He wasn't a citizen. Now she works less and his "friends" are filling the shifts. Hubby and Wife nice enough, his "friends" have yet to learn proper customer service or common courtesy. She has owned that 7/11 forever and at this rate he and his buds will tank it if they do not learn manners.

10-4 on that.

In my senior year at school, we went on a Legal Studies (One of the subjects I was studying) trip to Canberra (Our nations capital), and it was a hoot! One of my favourite memories of high school!

That is why when I was asked to fly with my DD's class (being on the board of education) I said no. I wanted her to have this trip without me. Right of passage.

In Texas that would fall under the "He needed killin'" doctrine.

We find if we don't hand them one, they don't read it. Not that it is a big deal because what it says on the syllabus is what happens.

As she says, it doesn't matter what DH says, to her it matters what I say. I really like him. No weird feelings over this one. Of course concerned because he is a guy.

Well that is good news. And yes, that guy factor.

oh yes! And he when he goes in two weeks, he will be with his best friends- which may be more fun than this one!

So excited for him.

I did have to turn on the air conditioner during our Christmas break- one day.

We all wish, but the powers that be (the rich folks in town) REALLY want it to be nice, even though NONE of them ever shop there, or open shops there. So, confusing really.

Dh has been fighting sinus problems since he returned home. Guess that nice, clean, salty, warm Dominican air, was far nicer to his sinuses then this cold, dry closed up house air.

he has been on the den sofa all day since church. Drinking Alka Seltzer and playing with the Ipad thingy, poor guy.

The way I look at it, there are some real idiot customers. I find just as many twits working retail. I am finding myself online'ing it more and more.
At my DD's school she can order almost all of her food online and have it delivered without having to talk to anyone who might not take her order correctly. If it is wrong, she has back up to prove it. She ordered all of her Christmas stuff online too.

I'm not a fan of summer....Well, not these temps anyway! 10 degrees cooler, and I'm happy!

True, recirced air on planes and all those people at the airport, staying on hotels with 15 different natioanlities in the kitchens and restaurants-he is blaming the cold.
