Half day today. The students leave at 11:45. Still have a busy day with play practice. Oh well.

I've been in a country mood all morning. I want to go 4-Wheelin', fishing, have a bonfire, imbibe in an alcoholic beverage. Wear a cowgirl hat. I just want to have a country day in the mountains. Goodness, I miss where my college is located.

Interesting that you mention that. DH and I stopped at the grocery to pick up shop supplies-paper towel, tissue paper, kleenex, coffee cups and plastic cups. We got in the car and I apologized for NOT getting the Red solos because they were $1.00 more per pack. Blue was $136.00, red was $2.36.


When he went to the Dominican Republic, he said he was flipping channels and came across the Toby Keith song about Red Solo Cups.

So EVERY time we see or hear Solo, that song starts on the mental soundtrack. Funny. Good thing I like Toby Keith. For those who don't know the song-

I tried on a pair of cowgirl boots, cause I REALLY want a pair and these had gorgeous detail work on them, but they were over $600. Again with the crazy pricey chinese made boots.


Guess I will have to drive to Texas to get a decently made pair. I would pay that for a pair of well made, non glued boots.

Yes they're ridiculously expensive and even with my big feet, I can't really fit into them because I have larger calves. Oh well...

Another day with one student not being able to sit in his chair. I do NOT know what to do to get him to listen and sit down. It is SUPER frustrating.

When we had that issue with DD, her first year in school (Pre3 preschool) we gave her Core Omega supplements. It is a fish oil supplement, all natural, and it wiped out the jitters, but was Dr recommended for exactly that. And since it was fish oil, it was good for her brain and heart to boot. Maybe a reward of a couple M&M's or Skittles for every period he sits still?

Watching the top competitors from the Merry Monarch last year. Wish I could go for the week of Merry mele this year. One full week, of 16 hours a day hula halau's. It would be paradise.

had an interesting day at work yesterday, got to watch one of our neurosurgeons perform surgery, then followed the patient thru recovery room and she is now a patient on the floor I work on.....so got to watch her whole process
