Quite a while back there used to be a cable channel that showed surgeries. Bones bein' cracked, big layers of tissue bein' flayed open and layed back...DW hated it , I LOVED it.

    Cool!
LOL, I like that movie-except the fake southern accents. But Sally Fields meltdown after the funeral is spot on. Great movie.

Sometimes, the news people pick the most "hick-ified" countried up, folks they can to interview, and the person plays it up for the telly, so it ends up being a cartoon nearly.

South Carolina folks do, in fact, like to hunt on Saturday mornings, and have breakfast before heading to a voting booth. No need to act as if they are the Clampetts.

Other locales have their own habits. Yeesh.

I also resent how the candidates pretend to be "regular folks" when we all know they wouldn't eat, or do, or say most of that around their regular circle of friends. Only one of these 4 is remotely a "regular" guy. And he doesn't have much of a chance, much to my disappointment.

I like Santorums vests. He looks more like an orthodontist, not so much of a candidate. Great hair though.

Walmart is taking invention submissions, make a video of your invention, people will vote American Idol style, and the winner gets shelf space at Walmart.

Yep, lots of bad weather news. Oregon is flooding, the middle north west if getting a near blizzard, the west has wind and fire, and the southeast is getting rain, thunder and flooding.

    Welcome to winter, huh?

I don't know why the cows sleeping on waterbeds is such a big deal on the news, our dairies have been doing that for a few years already. It does make the cows more comfy and keeps them from getting pressure sores.

Okay, am I the only one who finds it strange that those interviewed about massive weather events are sometimes ridiculous?

People in Oregon were warned for days and days about the flooding, they acted surprised that it flooded, and "didn't think they meant this bad". ???? What?? Come on folks, the weather guy usually isn't jesting.

    lol
