I like the fact when I get new mail my phone tells me--- "you've got mail" I like that tone/words. My kids don't know what that is special. Too bad it doesn't have that first sound of the modem trying to get online.

Hubby has the modem connect sounds as a ringtone on his phone. He downloads free ones at phonezoo.

Today has been a strange day. I'm having a difficult time watching some of the 24-25 year olds that I know, been through college, have jobs and yet still seem to missing the big picture of being an adult.

Visions more like a middle school child all goofy and dazed. Chasing childhood life. I am just shaking my head and praying to God none of these particular young folks get married and spawn until they get their acts together. My goal when I got out of college was to have my own place and be self sufficient. I worked two jobs (in good times granted) and did that. I get that some might need to live at home much longer, heck this isn't the best of times but seriously nearing a quarter of a century, college educated, job, start building a real life.

Rant over. Just saw too many things today.

Schoolwork still consuming me, for the most part. (Not to mention that I literally did not miss one pitch of the World Series...so every night I sat down and literally just watched. I'm crazy...but it was epic). Just checking in.
