Yeah, at least it was a clean dance, no grinding and she appeared to be enjoying herself, and not so angry. Kind of strange though.

I missed the last part of Amanda's question about the Kindle. Your books stay forever on your account as your back-up. I downloaded 6 books for my Mom off of Amazon in less than 10 minutes, that included typing the titles in. Click "Buy It" and the book instantly appears on the Kindle.

Titles are endless on Amazon.\\\\

Generally a couple dollars cheaper than Paperback, more if the book is newer.

Thanks, I will keep looking, researching. I love books, regular plain old books. But DD wants a reader.

My Review of the New JC Penney's

Best I've seen JCP look in a long while. Everything displayed well, like the opening of a new store. Had areas for their left over winter merchandise in each department, this was neat and organized unlike it normally is. Clearance prices very good.

They added a little red tag about 1/4" x 1/4" atop of the old price.

The gym shoes I groom in go for $45 normally there and were now $40, so not bad but on sale I use to pick them up for $35.

New dressier tops were all running around $14-$15 dollars. I can't say I hated the quality but it wasn't what it was in the business department. Most of the shirts were that stretchy cami material, which I am not a big fan of as I find it to be very warm.

Went to look at the Levi Jeans. This is where I got confused. They had been running about $48.00 this winter, not on sale. A few were at $37 and the new stock was around $50-$54. The cheaper ones were a different material then the denim I normally purchase. It will be interesting to see the other stores have $50-54 Levi's.

Dresses, they had more than I can remember and their prom section already set up. The one thing I did notice was their business section seemed to be little old ladie-ish and their "classic" type dresses that I tend to lean to were non-existent. I did not find one classic little black dress. Again, lots of stuff out of that Cami material.

The one thing that I did notice because I was in there a long time browsing around was management everywhere pacing the isles. All dressed up. The stock people dressed in Red Polo's. Rest in everyday clothes. The management were kinda frazzled trying to make sure everything was right and their employees were doing what was expected.
I heard one lady tell the manager, well Lisa just told us to stop folding but if you want me to fold I will do whatever you guys want. Turned into another isle and heard another manager talking to another employee, 'you know we cannot ask you to do that....but you know we would appreciate those of you who did? Obviously wanting them to do something in someone elses job description. That was uncomfortable to watch unfold.

I think they are still getting the bugs worked out. JCPenney here explained that Levi's would now all be stamped pocket first lines. Rather than the seconds they had resorted to. The difference is a first line has seams that stay straight, and the sizes are closer to accurate-and inside, the visibile side of the pocket is stamped with the Levi's approval. Many I have bought at Penney's did not have that. So, that may be the price difference.
If it is not, call headquarters in Dallas and ask if they want to go head to head on false advertising.

Their business class clothing has been going downhill as long as proper daywear has been changing. But I agree, they need to return to classic Worthington.

Me too, sort of. DD and I watched Mama Mia and the game. But the edge of the seat ending was rough. i REALLY wanted the Giants to win.

A LOT can happen in 57 seconds, though...

And it was almost lost on that time. Glad it wasn't.

My only real issue with our local Penney's, is they have stripped all dividers out, and all department markings. i have no clue where anything is, and they have increased housewares, and narrowed down childrens. And DD loved everything they sold in her "tween" area, but most of that is gone and they have a limited selection of things that are not as broadly appealing.

Ya, I had to really wander to get a sense of where things were at JCP. I did not venture into housewares, generally I do not buy stuff there. I had planned on purchasing shade/screens there for our west windows and they often had a sale of upto 75% off. I wonder what their pricing structure will be now for their custom department?
