I agree. Some of us played hangman, on paper, and all of the answers had to be the arrogant folks at the prom. It was a riot, and so much laughter at our table others came to see why-turned out to be a hoot. Teachers are also fun to give clues to for hangman.

TRU TV has something about vacation crazies. This poor gal tinkled on the deck, whilst sitting on a deck chair, in full view of (apparently) half the ship. WOW, how does anyone drink that much and live.

Yogi brand Detox Tea is also quite delicious, I have been guzzling that this week. Down 5 pounds so far.

Beyond depressed about the cold. Cold feels sad. Cold down to 24 for two nights feels like a sentence in Siberia.

Not a sentence in a local story that you EVER expect to read. What did the poor horse do?

34 Central has just dispatched a deputy to a store near State Highway 103 to reports of a Purple Dodge Neon hitting a man on a horse. The Neon then reportedly turned around and hit the horse again intentionally.


Most likely, it had to be put down. Hope they catch the driver.

Brian-that video had 1,200,000 this morning when I saw the clip on a news site, it now has 5,900,000. WOW. On two separate polls, he has a better than 78% approval rating, with a split happening on the question of too far, or not far enough.

It's freezing here also. Snow has been coming down since I got up this morning. We should have quite a build-up by tomorrow.

Yes, the horse story is very strange. But the car should be easy to find, there probably are not too many of those. Although, we have several, several vehicles in the area painted pepto pink. ick.

Never thought I'd be posting something about Justin Bieiber but I think this story is worth it.

One of my coworkers from ODF posted this link on Facebook. She created a group on Facebook for people to "like" and pass along to their friends in the hopes that it would get big enough for Justin Beiber to notice it. After a few days, her story became well-known enough that the news posted the above story about her. A few hours ago, Bieber's manager finally became aware of it, and it is looking promising that this little girl will get her wish. My coworker knows the little girl personally, it is nice to see that her efforts are paying off. Crazy how one person can start something so big.

I was trying to find a happy news story. So far, no real luck. Some tear jerking ones, but no happy, happy ones. Well, unless you count the remodel fo the original Hooter's-the owner is calling it "like Disney" for Hooters people", huh?

That is a really cute story. I read one about a 12 year old who created a website to save his granny's house from foreclosure-he succeeded, and got enough to pay it up to date, plus the taxes, with a fair bit left over.

Kids can do amazing things, with a little pushing from adults around the net.
