Now they limit how much they even sell to feed the animals. But it is fun to try and feed some of the animals.

As I figured out how we were short changed by the new educational thoughts, I was angry they never went back and fixed us. It was only a few years they taught that way.

That would have to include the admission of stupidity which can't happen.

Actually had to tell my students to stop staring at their screens and to look up at the book I was reading to them.
Which students of yours? The college or the younger ones?

Our high school has met the students half way. They are allowed to use their phones during passing periods and during lunch and study hall. I agreed with the first two, not the study hall.

My DD does not answer my texts during class (college) DS would text me often from class . My DD is pretty good with phone etiquette, DS, well I want to step on his iPhone frequently.

I was deeply involved with our school district for way too many years. Our adoption of curriculum was always by committee. It would always irk me as the committee would come to the board wide-eye about the purposed new curriculum and poo-poo'n the old curriculum. That would be fair if they were not the same educators that endorsed the previous curriculum.

But lately, I have been too busy for even that! I have chili and spaghetti in the freezer right now.
Well here is my suggestion (and yes I've done it), hire a teenager, yours or someone elses. It is well worth the little bit you have to shell out.

ya i know i was mia today.

i ended up taking like a 4 hour nap, woke up in time to shower and go get kay from school, stop at the dollar store and walgreens, then came home, helped her homework, watched tv, dipped into the wdwradio newscast, then got kay ready for bed, put to bed, now just checking a few things and im heading to bed.

still sore and achy but not as bad as the other day.

so strange how things can happen so quickly and make you misaerable.

ill try to check in more tomorrow. just been tired with taking the meds and trying to rest.
