Conductors are in a tough position. They are not police. Yes they have the authority to ask but can't do much else. Easier to ignore. If they escalate the problem and the drinker acts up they are captive on that train until they can stop the train where police can board. Then they need to interview people and arrest the dude, conductor to court. Trains schedule off and all trains following including freight. A bus they can just call a cop to meet the bus on the street.

Very different from when you were their age huh? My DS, your age fumbled around in Kindergarten on a computer. Teachers were not much better at it. Still had floppy disks then. Five years later DD went into Kindergarten more computer literate than her teacher. Helped the teacher with the new classroom digital camera. A generation later at least the new teachers like you know as much or more than the kids.
I know my DS was able to store all sorts of stuff in his calculator for math tests. Teacher just clueless. Took years for that high school teacher to figure that out. lol

My DD's is Barbie at Epcot. My DS was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
We also have pictures of the Disney "Boy Band", can't remember which famous group this was off hand, playing in the fenced grass area near the Odyssey at Epcot. The group was yet to be made "hot" by Disney so we were just leaning on the little fence and listening. Could it have been Timberlake?

Read back a little bit. Can't get caught up today.
About to go into work. Have a sick one here who really wants to go to work with me but I have too many classes to teach this semester on T/TH. He's not all that happy. He loves to go to my office.
Hoping the hubby hurries home because I do have some copies I need to make before class. That starts in 40 minutes. Luckily it doesn't take long to get there.
It was most likely BSB or NSYNC... Most likely NSYNC though...![]()
I just LOVED Boy Meets World and I remember seeing them earlier in the Day at MGM.. then seeing them at night at Fantasia Gardens.. I screamed ERIC MATTHEWS! The Disney people told me I wasn't allowed to approach them, but they looked around and were like.. No one else is here.. so They came up and hugged me. I was a 9 yr old in heaven.![]()

Sometimes all you need is a reminder that out there lies a better place... a better world... a Walt Disney World.

I just set up a wireless printer all by myself. Networks and all, properly aligned. I feel so-smart.
*Yeah, it had a step by step guide, but still, DH wouldn't even try*
