The RT Thread Part V

Hey Jenn? You had free time? When is your big project at work suppose to end?

I know right? Sheesh. But yeah I had a little yesterday... mostly because I forced myself to.

The big project goes live on March 9th so hopefully after that things won't be as insane. Thing is, there is another one right behind it (the joys of project management) that is going to take up a good amount of time too... and that's in addition to the other 47 "minor" projects I have. I should stop typing now... I'm gonna cry. LOL!

So unless my day changes that's probably all the time I have to post today. I have an 11:00-12:00, 1:00-1:30, 2:00-3:00, 3:00-4:00 and 4:00-5:00. In the space from 12:00-1:00 I am going to eat and possibly take a nap in my car (I'm working on like no sleep and I feel like a zombie lol) and the space from 1:30-2:00 I have to fill out a spreadsheet to track my time. In otherwords, I doubt I'll be back BUT if decide that napping is just not possible (likely because I have meetings right before and after and walk time to and from the car) I may stop back.

The good news is... I took the day off tomorrow. I have a doctor's appointment at 8:30am but intend on returning after to take a nap and then do nothing all day. Saturday is my birthday (bleh)... not sure that much will be going on then. Maybe I'll have some laptop time and can come by and say hi.

Me too girl! Me too! Right now I've made a command decision to (in between the meetings) listen to some UAB and poke around here. Maybe even during some meetings. Dang-it I deserve it! I'm gonna be old in 2 days. LMAO!!!

I spoke to my boss this morning and she acknowledged how over-worked I am and just that simple thing made me feel so much better about it all. She went on to poof my head a bit by telling me that it's because I'm so good and she knew I could handle it etc. etc. so, though I am a zombie due to lack of sleep, I'm in a great mood. It's also why I am forcing myself to slack a little.

I'm in a meeting now that I am paying attention to but I am multi-tasking here to keep my mind occupied with things that DON'T put me to sleep.

It's always nice when you're complimented by the boss! It's happened a few times the past few weeks to me as well! Made me feel SO much better!

Ughhhh ok it's becoming harder to keep the eyes open now. Thankfully the 20 minute Epcot entrance music loop from 1982 just came on UAB and it energizes me (totally takes me back to the better years of Epcot).
