DD gets overly worried about the one friend that got culled from the herd by the mean girl. I told her not to worry over it, and spend a week just not worrying with it, since that doesn't help. But DD is a sensitive kid and she hates to see her friends treated like property-I keep telling her that only the girl involved can change it. No sure what else to tell her, but since DD has plenty of friends, I just try to listen after she asks for advice, listen for clues-but no more advice after she says-"Okay, that is enough, let me work it out" at least she is trying. But MAN I wish I could fix this.
Parenting is not fun sometimes.

That did make me laugh. Yes there is a double standard. But if it is the guy complaining about the woman "venting" a very ugly word is used (not by you) instead.
Could so talk VOLUMES about double standards so not even going down that road.

It was something we always tried to accomplish. 'Cause often 2 would agree and then if the other one didn't go along, trouble.

There is no way my hubby could handle the pain of childbirth either with or without pharmaceuticals. I think God knew what he was doing when he made women.

Well with this recession, I have heard everything is more expensive but they are counting down executives? Sad, sad day.This particular one $399.99. But, he was half off, so only $199.99...+ tax...!

I think I may need to go to bed. Not sure if I will go into work tomorrow or if I will just wait until the Faculty Meeting. I like my Fridays basically empty!

I just did a facial of sorts. DH discovered his beloved aloe vera (he hated them til last week) are super healthy and very good for the skin-especially faces and wrinkles. So, I wamred the skin up, did a good scrub, and just wiped it all down with a freshly picked, freshly sliced aloe vera leaf. It feels so good.
