it didnt cant get ahold of anyone, anywhere, even springfield. gonna try again tomrrow but i may have to go to the office.

Hi all....had a ok day. Meeting went ok I guess this afternoon, gotta wait til middle of next week to hear back, they gotta review the case and whatnot.

On the way back to the train station me n mom stopped in the disney store on state street....my happy place! had a nice chat with the cm...he lives about 20 min from me in nwi! also found out there will be hiring in early june so guess who will be takin her app and resume in like may?

the belle animator doll i want is on sale for $20...thinking of getting it this weekend! going to bab too to get kay a muppet!

i wore my fancy black shoes downtown and killed my feet. ouch. i felt like everyone was staring at me since i couldnt walk well. lol never again. ha

kay had her kinder grad pics done today cant wait to see how they come out. my baby is growing up sooo fast i cant believe itl

Knock on wood, so far so good, we have stayed in one of the bubbles that is just raining. Hope it stays that way. Then again, the majority of the storm is still in Iowa. But I can dream.

Breakfast cooked, vitamins poured, liquid meal mixed, COFFEE!!!!! Hooray for coffee.

It is cloudy and rainy looking, and it feels sticky out there, but we had a 65 degree overnight temp. It was 80 yesterday, 80. YES!!! to warm temps finally.

My MIL was always into Aloe.

Well, his research has shown that aloe is better for skin than any lotion, and 1 tablespoon of the inner leaf goo mixed in a smoothie has loads of healthy stuff. So, we are using some of those plants that until last week, DH would say="you need to get rid of these, they mulitply and take over too fast". HA, joke is on him I think. My 5 big aloes, have made hundreds of smaller ones that we have given away, thrown away, moved, given away again. Now, he wants to let them take over a section of the back yard, cause we will need two large leaves a day for smoothies and facials.



Hubbys can be so funny.

I am just so ready for DIsney, its ridiculous. I really miss that place. I miss it so much.. I want to move down there so I don't have to miss it.

It looks like my family is joining a gym. My goal is to lose 20 lbs. After I hit the 20 lb mark.. I hope to lose another 10.. but I'm doing it one benchmark at a time. 30 lbs all together would put me at the weight I need to be for my height.

Honestly, a Curves style place is the best for women and men. I lost loads of inches doing the Curves system 4 days a week. It takes 30 minutes. Cardio and toning at the same time and friendly folks to work out with. Both our Curves and our privately owned Curves style gym shut down when the economy tanked. So, I have no hope of one of them to tone up, but I had an eight pack ab section and fabulous muscle definition.

Yeah there are Curves style workouts at the gym I'm going to join. I'll probably do that.. but also some elliptical and stationary bike. I will also do some Zumba. My mom wants me to do the aquatics classes with her. We'll see how I feel about it.

That did make me laugh. Yes there is a double standard. But if it is the guy complaining about the woman "venting" a very ugly word is used (not by you) instead.

Could so talk VOLUMES about double standards so not even going down that road.

There is also a business double standard. When hubby calls a company manager to ask for better service, he is being a businessman, when I call to ask for better service, I am considered to be "being pms-y, or B****y.


I understand that and am always SUPER polite about it. Have to laugh at the way it truly is "the more things change, the more they stay the same".

LOL, I find the humor in it, and just keep going.

One of my co-workers that teaches science was told that she couldn't teach science because she's a woman. She should be teaching Kindergarten not science. Women aren't as smart, the man said. How degrading.
