His dream was to knock it down and build a community building as an alternative place for local residents to hang and have some out-reach. Yet could not find financial support for this mission. So on November 22 he climbed up on the roof of the motel with a a tent and and made a vow not to come down until he raised the $450,000.00 needed.

A Christian businessman today made an anonymous $85,000 today that put motel within about $90,000.00 of getting the Rev off the roof. Tyler Perry, promoting his movie being released today, heard, asked the news team which has been constantly following the roof top story, if the news team had vetted the project. The news team confirmed. 'Heck if you've vetted it, I'll give him the $98,000.00 (which actually will put the motel project $13,000 over targeted amount).

Rev. will come down around 6pm so all his supporters since Nov 22 can join him in the celebration.
That is great, Tyler Perry does a LOT of charitable work-normally without the press ever knowing about it. He gives away large chunks to homeless ministries and single mother support things. He is a really honest and awesome man.

Adele's, I somewhat understand. She was trying to be thankful and was barely given any time to thank everyone and was completely cut off. Do I think the hand gesture was appropriate.. no.. but if someone is as thankful as she is.. GIve her one more minute!

Tibetan Mastiff's are rare and very expensive. Good quality Pup going for around $150,000.00. The average is 4 pups per litter.

One Tibetan new Mom gave birth to a whopping 22 Pups. That Mom's owners will likely get quite the return on their initial investment. Thinking the stud owner will soon be a popular pick too.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Ya, the management of the event were tacky. Still, with both of them, you need this not to be a go to response. People who don't normally flip....generally will not flip...under pressure. Their handlers/PR peeps probably were like Oy, damage control time.

Yeah definitely, but her PR hasn't really said anything about it though.. IT's like whatever.. she did it. It seems like, for the most part, something like that is a BIT more acceptable in England

I am far from most schools in our area however I am very close to the Primary Ed building. I love seeing the smallest of the small so excited to go into school. Sad that feeling generally doesn't stick.

Yeah, the kids do like school right now.. It seems as it becomes more difficult and it takes more attention, they start to dislike it more.

I feel like technology has a huge impact on this. THey'd rather do something that requires little attention than something that they have to seriously concentrate on.

I think of the poor Mommy Pup trying to feed all those pups. Bet she was really tired when #22 came into the world.

And late last night DD sent me a picture of the baby born a few nights ago along with her name, weight, etc. By the FB post it would appear babe and mom when they leave the hospital, will be leaving together.

    Jenn

Did you see the pictures of the MK Main Street, Town Square area? The two big round trees have been ripped out of the ground. Two little, sparse ones have replaced the pretty trees. Looks very Urban in town square now.

I hate that from the train station to the Castle a once warm looking area has become the Asphalt Jungle.
    What are they thinking.

Slacker day for me here. Only have a 3-close at the clothing store today.
Yesterday was a full day between both places. Made the day sales-wise plus a BUNCHA' extra at TDS. Manager was very happy to hear that at the end of the day because it had been trending so slow.
