That did make me laugh. Yes there is a double standard. But if it is the guy complaining about the woman "venting" a very ugly word is used (not by you) instead.

Could so talk VOLUMES about double standards so not even going down that road.

There is no way my hubby could handle the pain of childbirth either with or without pharmaceuticals. I think God knew what he was doing when he made women.

Well with this recession, I have heard everything is more expensive but they are counting down executives? Sad, sad day.

There is also a business double standard. When hubby calls a company manager to ask for better service, he is being a businessman, when I call to ask for better service, I am considered to be "being pms-y, or B****y.


I understand that and am always SUPER polite about it. Have to laugh at the way it truly is "the more things change, the more they stay the same".

LOL, I find the humor in it, and just keep going.

Yea, as I stated on the other thread, I have never been this way with women. Or, other races, ages, etc. for that matter. I was taught, by my folks, a long time ago that there is no room for that kinda' stuff in life. I have respected, taken direction from, and learned from women and others all my life.
Right now at TDS I am one of 2 Lead Managers, the other being female. The Assistant Manager and the Store Manager are also female. They ALL love working with me because I work with them so well. The way I see it, we have work to get done and there is no time or reason for pety BS. They all know and do their jobs very well, and I have the ultimate respect fro them and they KNOW it.

And late last night DD sent me a picture of the baby born a few nights ago along with her name, weight, etc. By the FB post it would appear babe and mom when they leave the hospital, will be leaving together.

Aw, yeah for her and while it is hard to manage, she CAN do this. Bless her heart.

I think of the poor Mommy Pup trying to feed all those pups. Bet she was really tired when #22 came into the world.

Bet she was tired after the 6th or 7th, but good for her on staying with it and not needing a c section. Many dogs need c sections-HERE-I think owners get tired of the sitting and waiting and mess, maybe that is why HERE they have so many.
