Great, tornado watch number 76, (yes 76) just hit the county two up from us. Barbour, Bullock, Pike, Russell, Crenshaw. 60 miles away or more. Yay, but boo for them.

i DO love how the NWS cuts into ALL programming now, not just the three main stations, but EVERY channel here, and our tornado sirens are all in good working order since we just had this a few weeks back.

hating the temp drops coming behind the storm. from 80 and sunny to 63 for 5 days. burr, BURR.

Speaking from a Mom who was quite good at ripp'n her kids out of school for Disney. Ya my Board of Education members just loved me. heehee
LOL, DH won't go, unless we have sold by then. And our school considers any trip enrichment and is very kind about homework, and make up tests. We have three families out on cruises right now, and spring break is coming in a few weeks. I never figure a few days will hurt anyone.

DH and I have been batting me going without DD, but I don't think I could enjoy it without her as much.

Looks like we won't be eating dinner until 10pm! The chicken was still partially frozen when I went to place it in the slow cooker, and I hate defrosting meat via the microwave. So I let it defrost a bit longer, and 2 hours later I finally got to start dinner. Unfortunately the creamy salsa chicken I'm making, takes 5-6 hours in the slow cooker. Good thing it is a Saturday night, and we'll be staying up late!

Well the telephone woke us up before the sun came up, hate that. Then I turned on the News as DH got ready to truck into work unexpectedly. The news reports were so sad and depressing. Ugh. Poor people.

Pup not accustomed to such quick movement early in the morning was excited and ran in with a tennis ball.

So far today, so good, we have had 5 thunder rolls, and no lightening or tornado issues. Just some heavy rain, which this part of the state needs for the cotton and peanut and soybean farmers.

So about 5 more hours of this and it will be clear and cool, down to 60ish degrees.

Your dog stories really make me want a dog. And DD asks for a dog quite often, but with our schedule, we have no time to train or spend adequate time with a puppy. Stinks, but if we can sell, we are getting a dog.
