I'm am so old that I remember Snack Pack's when they were in little cans with pull off ring tops.

Snack Pack pudding was invented for the down season, after harvesting of vegetables were canned for the year. The balance of the year was spent canning pudding using the same machinery and employees.

that is a good bit of information. Never knew why pudding was suddenly canned.

i prefer to make Cook and Serve, and eat it warm.

This is the nail art case I loaded for DD's Easter Basket.

That is super cute. I have gotten the same basket every year since I was born...so if my mom did something like that for me, she would be trying to stuff the make-up case inside the basket, lol. Yes, we are big in keeping holiday tradition over here.

Amanda's trip report is really good so far. I just finished reading about the Golden Gate. Nice. And it means more for me since I have been there. So cool.

I tried to do that but DD has her own ideas on what she wants, as a basket or whatever. One year it was tinkerbell gift can-Like a 4 pound coffee can that was all Tinker Bell, with a camera and tons of scrapbooking stuff, one year a soft plush bunny basket. She is just a different kind of kid, and as she told me at 5 years old, It IS my Easter too, right?

So, I try to roll with it, and make it as fun as possible, but I do have all of her baskets. I did keep them.

Thanks guys. My celebrating was Saturday and Sunday. It was a nice Birthday. This evening, phone calls.
My DD just said your phone is never busy for hours. lol. But generally true. Not a phone person.

Us too. But by my design. My Mom was a tosser of things she bored with if they were hers or not. She isn't very sentimental. My kids have their baskets and Christmas socks. We had the same tree throughout their childhood. Now for 2 years we've had a small one 'cause with the new living room and dining room furniture it did not fit. The first year, it was odd.

Gah, I hear ya. I HATE it when the house phone rings...seriously drives me bonkers, don't know why. I swear I will never have a house phone in my own home. I'll stick with my cell phone, those who need to talk to me have the number & I have the convenience of texting. No need to hear the house phone ring all night.

Every year when we put up the tree, I tell my mom I dread the day it is time to get a new one. Love that one that I have been looking at my whole childhood. I am sentimental when it comes to certain things, but keep it limited. Being a pack-rat is something that makes me crazy, so I keep my sentiments to a minimum.
