Kopi Luwak or Civet Coffee

You might think having been eaten, undigested, and pooped out of animal would make a foodstuff less expensive. Like maybe free. But in the case of Kopi Luwak, or civet coffee, you'd be wrong.

The Asian palm civet eats coffee beans and while it can't digest them, it does remove their bitterness, leaving a wonderfully tasting coffee bean in its poop. Want to try some animal poop coffee? It's $30 a cup.

No, no way. But kudos to whomever figured out that fact and turned it into a money maker. Capitalism-AHH yes.

I now have an early favorite. The guy who handed out the beads to the judges. My least favorite was the female that came across as "angry" '

I was glad she got sent home. I don't like a few of them already, but I do love the new format.

tomorrow I start my new work week schedule, Mon through Fri with Sat and Sun off. It will be the first time in 25 years that I had this schedule.

That is great. Weekends off is such a nice thing.

Yeah, I think you're right. This was the first year that my school didn't have them ready and waiting for us after the ceremony though. Ah well, I've waited four years, what's a few more weeks?

Dd & boyfriend are safely in their room at Bay Lake Tower pool view. I took them to airport at 6 am then got a venti coffee to get my caffeine in before the cutoff of 9:30 a.m. As cardiologist tomorrow.*Walked the boys after a 30 min work out. Ran to drop papers off for Pam. Then shopping. Now working on doors! Tonight movies I recorded over weekend.

Scuba instructor submitted my grade in time, so my diploma is good to go as far as I am aware of....but no diplomas were handed to anyone out at graduation, so dumb. University said they would contact us within the next few weeks to let us know when they are available for pick up. They handed us our fancy little diploma booklet/holder thing as we walked across the stage, but no diploma inside.

Dd received empty folder to I was so nervous when that happen but they told them they never out the original in the folder as they may get handed to wrong student! So now I know it wasn't a line.

Work started with a fair amount of work and dropped off this afternoon.

We are going with a bouquet of flowers and a gift in the 200-ish range for DD's 6th grade graduation. I can't take her to Hawaii for the summer or France like some parents, so, it is what it is.

MIL is talking about a trip to Charleston South Carolina for her. That would be fun.

I don't miss facebook a week after stopping my activity there.

Interesting that some folks get addicted to it. I never did.
