I made nearly 10 pounds of mashed potatoes. I have a zip bag nearly full and that is great.


Although, I find making them surprisingly relaxing. Odd.

We have a missing soldier in our area, he was fishing and his boat is there but he is not. Prayers for him and to his family, he just came home from Afghanistan.

Getting a doozy of a storm in the Twin Cities today. Green skies, 85MPH wind gusts, and rain so thick you can't see. It's a good night to stay inside and catch up on some TV.

Baseball is my life in summer. My brother and I and my dad to are huge Indians fans. We try to go to games once a week once summer is here but it is so hard with brothers job, band for me and dads job. There is always a baseball game on somewhere in this house... If it is a game that happen at the moment or one from the past that Sports Time Ohio is showing.

I'm happy that the Indians are starting to do well, but the white sox are sneaking up on you guys. Should be intense all season

Please, send it to southeast Alabama. We need it, we had 9 seperate fires today. None as big as the west is dealing with, but some farm fields went up.

DD is cleaning her room, getting anything that does not fit out of there. And deciding what to put in the shed for favored item rotation. Looks like Polly Pockets are going out, with a bag of stuffed animals. 2 blankets she has had forever are going to the semi permanent storage, and a laundry basket of clothes to another church family. Their daughters are smaller and can wear them, they are barely worn.

What is going on in Chicago this weekend?? Crazy town up there if one goes by the headlines. Yikes, but there was a lot of crazy everywhere yesterday.

Mmmmmm, pineapple on the basket. Pan brown it with the black lava salt, create a nice caramel around it. Par boil the pasta sheet, wrap the pineapple deep fry, salt the melted chocolate and VIOLA!!

If they would get their and be edible I would. I can tell you how to make them-easy.

Peel and cut the taters, boil them til they are soft, drain, use the electric mixer to whip in wamred milk and a stick of butter. EAT.


I use 5 pouns of potatoes, 1 stick of butter and 3/4ths cup hot milk. salt and pepper to taste.

Not hard to do.

Josh, I whip my potatoes for about 7 minutes, I like them fluffy, creamy and lump free.

Sure wish that tropical storm was coming in here. We need rain, lots of rain and they are surely getting it. Maybe that will help them not have a spring fire in the national forest there.
