    Hi all--

So tonight Kayla had her dress rehearsal for her ballet recital..OMG...she did sooo good and was soo beautiful!! she danced better than she has been in class...so keep your fingers crossed in a few days she does just as well!

i was trying to video it on my new camera and somehow didnt press the button all the way so i only got half...but i got the whole thing on the camcorder so thats a good thing. now to find a usb cord to upload it! i was trying to take pics too and some of the girls from the other class stood in front of the stage and blocked my view...i told them nicely to move over, since no other girls did that the rest of the time we were waiting (hour and half) and was somewhat irritated. so i didnt get as many pics as i wanted. and on the actual recital day you are not allowed to take pics or video cause the school is professionally videotaping it.

she has a couple days left of school, tomorrow actually an early dismissal and then friday the last full day then monday she graduates!

Anyone have suggestions for a 12 year old? She can read at a college level, but it needs to be interesting.
Is she after fiction, or non fiction? I have some great Disney books about Walt, and the parks.

Thanks Sera, she likes both. And she is getting more interested in Walt and what influenced him to build the Disney empire. I will add those to the one Brian recommended.
