OUCH!!!

DF and I went on a last minute day trip yesterday. We didn't go too far from home, just 2 hours, but it was fun. We went to two places. Port Pirie, and Port Broughton. captured a few nice photos, and we ended up having dinner at the Port Broughton hotel. Nothing fancy, but the food was decent, and relatively cheap. DF and I, shared a plate of apple crumble with vanilla custard for dessert. Was sorta romantic!

That sounds lovely, and date nights are important for both of you after you get married as well.

How was your weekend?

Pretty good, here. It was rainy so we chilled, and napped yesterday. Today was church, we had nursery due to someone else's emergency, then came home a napped and chilled.

Our weekend has been pretty lazy so far. I was hoping to get a few things done, but all we have done so far, is watch Stargate Universe, and go on a day trip. We need to get some stuff done around here.

Yesterday's day trip, will be the last one, until after we get married. Need to finish paying wedding and honeymoon stuff off.

I wouldn't mind winning the lotto. Just enough to pay off our debts, buy a house, and pay off the wedding and honeymoon. I'd be content with that.

Your town is doing a doggie census?


I would not cooperate with that. But then, I barely answered the regular census. I wrote 3 CITIZENS at this address, and sent it back.

Almost 17 yrs living here & this is the 1st one we ever received. I completed it via email, DH said toss it we just renewed their license they know we have 2 lol. To funny. Did they stop by & check on you to be sure?

Actually less! We changed our leaving day a couple of days ago and I have not changed my countdown.

Walked the pups this a.m. they were very warm so made it a short walk. Now off to shop for pants for new job!

I'm still waiting to hear if I got a 2nd interview. Sent a thank you letter to the hiring manager this morning re: interviewing me so we'll see what happens. She siad it'd probably be end of June when they made a decision so hoping to hear about the 2nd one soon!
