Seems Gremlin Hyperion is named after the street Walt lived on, and there is a restaurant in DLP also named hyperion.

There are Hyperion references in Hollywood Studios as well. Tell you DD to keep her eyes open for them on your trip.

I have often considered changing my username on here to something Hyperion-related (I'm a nerd when it comes to studying Walt's beginnings). I'm not fond of the one I have now...I originally chose it because we had a bunny named Thumper, which we got from Bambi....but after 5 years I think I've outgrown it.

Busy day have a slight headache that I hope goes away. So no move pc tonight! Had a great day with old co worker we had lunch, shopped & visited with my BF who also worked with us when I first started at the old job! Now time for pups play & rest!

The other day the owner here mentioned that he was gonna' have a pool table and a bar (for real) at the new location.
No word yet on whether he will have mimosa's and mani-pedi's (or somethin' similar) at the lingerie shop next door...

When he was in our store about a year or so ago I helped him find some stuff and then did his transaction. As we finished I, of course, said to him... "Have a Magical day!" to which he replied... "Thanks! I don't hear that nearly often enough!"

How is your new job?

The new job was good for orientation. Training will be in middle of July as they are waiting until after the 4th because they know how many people have plans already. So soon I can share with you! Busy reading up on the rules & regulations!

I've done one night at the Poly, but that is all the deluxe experience I've had. POR is our "home" resort, but my mom has been dreaming about AKL since it opened, so maybe we'll be able to swing 2 or 3 nights there next trip.

Cool! We consider POR our "home" resort as well since we stayed there the first 2 trips with the kiddos.
Hope to get back soon!

Would LOVE to stay at the Poly someday!
Fingers crossed y'all can swing AKL!
