wdw in feb?

Wellllllllllllllllllllll I can officially say MY FAMILY AND I ARE GOING TO WDW THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I have a question.....what is wdw like in Feb?
How are the crowds?
The weather?

Aside from the Presidential holidays, it is generally slow. Both times I've gone in February it has been coldish.

Yay for no crowds! And yea I had a feeling it will be cold. I did the college program up to Jan and I was FREEZING!! LOL

And amazingly it was 85 Friday in WDW. Ya just never know. My DS had done the CP, August to January a few years back and it warmer on NYE than it was at Thanksgiving.

We were mostly in jeans and hoodies during the day but it was really pleasant, sure beats August.

Haha gotta love the extreme weather changes day by day lol. And THAT is why I got bronchitis my last month or so there!! And boy oh boy I hear you loud and clear...August there is miserable!! (Except for my birthday!!

I went once in February, in 2008. It was during the week of Presidents Day, because my high school has an unusual week off in February, which most schools in the area don't even have. So my family went for a week then. Granted it was Presidents week, so there were crowds. Not empty like you would expect, but also nowhere near the crowds of mid-summer. Most e-ticket attractions, such as Test Track, Splash Mountain, Rock n Roller Coaster, at peak times had no more than 45 minute waits but bearable working around with fastpasses.

But, first week of February should be even less crowded, and you will have a great time then. Weather can vary. When I was down that week of February it was pushing 80 most of the week. But it can be cold, just have to keep checking.

we went thru valentines week and it was AWFUL!! all the cheerleaders were there and there was tons of south american tour groups.. i think feb is a luck of the draw.. you my hit a good week but the next week may be slammed!! when i went it was worse than when we went during the end of july

Oh my.......I REALLY hope the Brazilian tour groups are not there. I've had VERY bad experiences with them. Thank you very much for the tips chrissy!!

yep just check when the cheerleaders are going to be there.. and thats a forsure crowd

I am going the last week in Feb (Feb. 26-March 3) for my birthday this year...anyone ever go around this time? I assumed the crowds would be minimal, but after reading this thread I am getting nervous! I know the weather is something you need to watch at that time of year though. My usual game plan is a tank top with a sweatshirt to carry in case we need it (I say tank top because I want a tan if possible :-) )

this season is hotter than last year so I wont expect it to be freezing nor burning. the crowds are really small expecially during the weekdays in febuary. have fun!!
