P.U.S.H.-A mantra MOST will not understand.
Disney rocks, Walt was a genius.
sounds likw a rip off of Block Party Bash and World of Color to me
Visits to Disney:
February 2009: off-site 1 day trip to Epcot and Magic Kingdom
February 2010: All Star Movies 7 days, 6 nights of magic
February 2011: All Star Music 7 days, 6 nights of magic
September 2012: All Star Movies4 days, 3 nights of magic
Very err professional presentation I think the guy in the black shirt (sorry don't know his name) obviously had been watching classic Jobs speeches as reminded me of the Late Steve Jobs rip.
Blue Man show - no thanks. Spiderman... desperately needed! Dispicable me - Simpsons ride with different images... Still not gonna go there this year.
I still say the Spiderman ride is fine without the enhancements, but if it makes the ride even more amazing, then I'm all for it. I don't understand the fascination with Dispicable Me, though. I saw the construction walls with the images on it for the new attraction, and I realize they are planning a second movie. But it's too dated already and it is only a year or two old. Universal seems to get logged down with films that aren't 'timeless'. It's time to remove the "2" from the T-2 ride. There have been a few movies since then.
We're venturing off Disney property this August for the first time since 1992. I'm sure Universal will be nothing like I remember it.

I went the year it opened and nearly every ride was broken or in disrepair. Apparently they opted to follow in Walt's footsteps from the abominable Disneyland opening thirty years prior. They gave us passes to return and it was about 10 or more years before I took them up on it. It was smaller than I remember, with more space than they need for what they offer. I guess they expected to expand in between the rides but never did. Now that they've added Islands of Adventure, Universal has become a must-visit park.
We're thinking about maybe visiting Universal, thanks for posting this.
only time I ever visited Universal was when a pro wrestling website I write for sent me to a TNA Impact taping because our normal guy lives in Orlando and covers TNA couldn't go. Didn't have time to do any attractions, but it didn't bother me much.

Never been to the Studios. Islands of Adventure is decent enough. And City Walk is a nice enough nightlife area (I saw many excellent bands at the Jazz club over the years).
But, were I to venture off-property I'd be heading to Busch Gardens. But, I'm a huge rollercoaster guy, too.
A few years back we spent 4 nights on-sight due to a school board convention and then moved onto Disney for my Families spring break vacation.
My family just loved it, the hotel to parks transportation was superior to Disney's on a whole. I'd compare the transportation as equal to the monorail hotels going to the MK. While I didn't get to see nearly as much of the parks as my family (as I was in the Convention Center 9-5 for 4 days) they made the parks a must do from now on and happily split off some of the time from Disney.
My son did their Halloween Party at Universal and the Disney Halloween, he as a young adult prefers Universal's Party for his age group anyhow.

Disney has opted not to duplicate the Disneyland's World of Color at Disney World. When you make a decision like that it leaves the door wide open for a competitor to create their own version in an untouched market.
And they all rip from each other. At Harry Potters they served Butter Beer at Hogs Head Pub. So Disney rip of Butter Beer at Hogs is the announcement of Gaston's Tavern:
How isn't this a rip?
