DW and I have just rented a fabulous vacation home for the month of February next year. It's really close to WDW, and got a great deal--4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a pool. I am a little leery though because I was told to bring a lot of Raid to kill the 3+" roaches and other biting and blood ****ing insects and not to walk around at night because of the alligators and rabid racoons and possums. Just kidding!!!

The home seems very nice and they just installed new mosquito netting around all the beds, and the smelly swamp should be drained by the time we get there. The road to the home may not be paved, but they are going to put down some gravel after they fill in the sinkhole that recently appeared near the porta potty.

We will be taking reservations on a first-come, first-served basis, with Lou & Family having first choice, of course. Looking forward to all of you visiting.

Just got an update from the rental agency. Was told not to wash my car for the duration due to constant flyover of cranes, seagulls, and vultures in February on their way to Reddy Creek Conservation area. Also, no little kids should be out during the day because of reported attacks by eagles and hawks.

Thanx for the link. I must have been on the compter last night at the time trying to reserve this wonderful vacation home. It took me forever as every time I hit the "Submit" button it kept telling me I was helping orphans in third-world countries, and that I should increase my credit card spending limit.

Seriously, I thought something was up when I made my reservations in March for October 4-14 at PC and the CM told me she doubted the rates for AP would be lower than AAA, if and when them came out (which by the way were the same--20% AAA/$18 AP for the Values during Value Season).

Looks like Disney once again has found a way to make it's most loyal customers/guests just like the general public.
