    things i noticed

    hey all!

    Well i am here at the world having the time of my life at the 6 months of waiting were worth every second.

    A couple of changes that Disney have made have been a bit disappointing-just wondered if anyone knew why they have shut down the Wonders of Life in EPCOT and why oh why they have covered the Chinese Theatre with Mickeys hat?? Completely ruined the theatre view!!

    Went on Soarin' today at EPCOT and lost one of my flip flops-wasn't happy they didn't give me warning that we would be swinging around in the air lol but managed to retrieve it!

    And when did the Disney merchandise get so good???

    glad yoru having a good time. funny enough, when I went on soarin with my brother and mother they were both wearing flip flops and the CMs told them just to leave them on the ground when they sat down. they stayed there, and when we came back down were right where htey were left.

    Well, I guess I'll post here a couple of things I noticed!

    In HM, the two chairs with the "Hidden Donalds" were GONE!!!
    More CM's were rude and inpolite than normal!
    Extra Magic Hours were NOT as good as E-Ride Nights!
    Once again I can not go N E WHERE without seeing someone I know! (I saw a guy in the same major as me from my university)
    They were completely OUT of Gold Mickey ears!!!
    There's a great big beautiful tomorrow, just a dream away!
    Prince Charming, will you marry me?
    I saw on TV that listening to Mozart makes you smart. So if you listen to Elvis, you'll become a GENIUS!

    Yeah, the hidden donalds were missing on our trip a month ago. Does anyone know when they were taken out?

    Wow...no gold ears anywhere?

    Nope, all gold ears all sold out EVERYWHERE!!!!! (Even the welcome center in Ocala)

    At WDW, I still wear my original ears but when I went to DL, I bought the gold ears. Maybe that's where they all went... Disneyland!

    thats weird about the golden ears when they first came out with them around may 5th, no one was buying them. there were tons in the shops and no one around the parks were wearing them. when i would put mine on people would almost look at me funny. like what the **** was i wearing on my head. oh well i guess they have caught on.

    Actually, wasn't it DL having problems keeping the ears in stock more than WDW? And the DL ears are different than the WDW ears...

    We got the same reaction about a month ago cjdiggs. You'd think wearing ears was a huge secret because many people were askig where we got them and where we got them embroidered.

    It really is a small world, when I was there in June we ran in to my daughter's preschool teacher. We parked our rented WDW stroller with the big name tag next to theirs while we went shopping in Pooh's Thotful Shop, and I noticed the name, thinking, "What would the chances be that..." and before I finished the thought, there she was with her kids!

    We had issues a few weeks ago for the bride and groom ears.. Magic Kingdom and MGM were completely out.. Finally found them in Epoct... too bad my DH would only wear them one night!!!

    It is all about money, or lack there of, for sponsorship of the attraction; plus was never that popular with the exception of a couple rides/shows.

    I agree the hat has ruined the vista, but Disney didn't ask me what I thought!
