Today's My Birthday" button
Today's My Birthday" button .... has anyone got one of these before? What sort of things did you do with your button on your birthday? Are they even worth it? Is there an age limit?
I'm asking because my birthday is over our Labor Day trip this year and my husband saw it on a site and suggested I get one.
THANKS!!

I went with my friends siter for her bday a few weeks ago. There were pretty much no questions asked. Walked into City Hall, said it was her bday, got a pin. Most of the CM's noticed and wished her a happy bday, asked how she was enjoying her trip, how old she was, etc.
I am confident that there is no age limit. its Disney. It's not a big deal but I would reccomend it, its novel, its a free souvenier, and its an attention getter but not at all embarassing.

What happens with the pin is not planned in any way but depends entirely on the CM.
We were told to acknowledge every single birthday pin even if we were busy. If we were able, we were supposed to create magical moments within our sphere of influence.
There are so many great stories about Cast Members making magic because of those buttons, they could fill a book by themselves.
What I say 100 times each day:
"It's not a Disney Resort even though it's on Disney property!"

I guess it would be "wrong" to just say it was my birthday just to get attention, right?
-
Not if it's your UN-birthday!

Get buttons anytime. I have never been to WDW on my real birthday, so I just make believe. That's what Disney is all about!!!
P.S. Do not ask for ketchup/catsup at WC!!!

When (if) I go in Dec 2006, I'll have to get a button since the trip is a beleted 30 birthday trip! (Birthday is in April, but I'm not able to go then...plus I hate the heat.)

Ask for the ketchup and a bigger straw....LOL
I know about the ketchup so I dont think I will be needing any for my food..
I am much curious about the straw thing tho---no one tell me I want to be surprised...LOL
We are all planning on celebrating our UN-Bdays while we are there

Ooohhhh man what are you guys talking about the ketchup and straws thing? Sorry I haven't been on the site for awhile so it's an outdated question!
