My DH use to have his Birthday paid off or be able to float it. The vast majority floated it to the day after Thanksgiving that they took the Birthday Float away and just gave everyone the day after off.
Sounds like my DH's job, he gets 6 weeks paid vacation plus some floating holidays, plus he gets most federal holidays off. He works for a university.Quote:

Mine is on a Monday this year. If it's on the weekend I'm good because I always request that weekend off to go the in-laws. But the fact that I have to request a weekend off in the first place :no: DH commented last night after coming in to the store to see me that I don't seem to fit in with the other cashiers. IMHO, politicians are going about the cities gun issues incorrectly. It is that "code of silence" that exists that hampers progress. Roto route the WHYS nobody will talk to the police in Chicago and you might get somewhere.
