You need to go work for a European company with a branch in the US.I have to work on my birthday
My original career, I had 4 weeks vacation, 12 sick days, 5 personal days and 12 paid holidays with bonus 2 half days. Plenty of ways to have your Birthday off.
My DH use to have his Birthday paid off or be able to float it. The vast majority floated it to the day after Thanksgiving that they took the Birthday Float away and just gave everyone the day after off.

Sounds like my DH's job, he gets 6 weeks paid vacation plus some floating holidays, plus he gets most federal holidays off. He works for a university.

Last day of having to walk two Pups. Especially since neighbors dog, (who she inherited from DS 30, who got a new dog and dumped this one on her,) doesn't have any leash manners.
When it gets warm, I'm going to train that dog the proper edicate of being walked on a leash. His male owner just put one of those spike torture collars on him.
I'd like to put one on him.

Mine is on a Monday this year. If it's on the weekend I'm good because I always request that weekend off to go the in-laws. But the fact that I have to request a weekend off in the first placeI don't but only because it is on a Sunday this year!

Pixie Dust to all those who have to drive in the City of Chicago on Friday. The President is coming to address the topic of Gun Violence. That should be another traffic snarler. They invented an object called a helicopter, think they forgot about that option. His Wife was here this weekend. Joy, Joy.
IMHO, politicians are going about the cities gun issues incorrectly. It is that "code of silence" that exists that hampers progress. Roto route the WHYS nobody will talk to the police in Chicago and you might get somewhere.

Wonder what will happen to the toy industry in the next generation. Cyber Tinker Toys, Lego's, Board Games, Race Car Tracks and so forth. Carpels Tunnel of the thumbs of 5 year olds?
