I guess I should run take a shower before I have to take lunch out of the crock pots. Hoping someone else will clean the kitchen soon. OR at least the living room.
Son's senior year is going well. Way busy for the both of us. I am still messing with uniforms for the band (240 members) but it will work in the long run. Son has Dinner theater on Thursday and Saturday with a travel game (football) in between. Will be a very tiring week for him. Better check those grades today.
Younger boys spent the night with neighbors so I didn't go to church so they could come home and have someone here. However, hubby knew I made food for lunch and now they are not here. Betting his parents took him and the oldest son to lunch. So much for my food. And of course hubby doesn't have his phone. He aggravates me with that fact. When I need him he never has it. What's the purpose.
Forget them. I'm eating. Church was over more than an hour ago.
They walked in right as I posted that. Lunch was great. Brisket with chilpolte peppers in Adobe sauce with a lot of Dr Pepper--- cooked in the crock pot over night.
Ho-hum, pretty slow day here at work so far.
You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.
And, things get even kookier as I should have known they would...
Am learning so much about the 3D modeling at the archi. job that I may soon attempt my own Cindy castle at some point.
Every time I try to put in my 2-week notice at TDS someone else quits or gets fired (one of the other Lead Mgrs. I used to work with just got canned) and they request that I stay, at least 'til they can get another Mgr. and more CM's hired and built up for the run-up to the Holidays. Of course, I agreed, but I seriously need to devote ALL my attention to the WAY higher payin' archi. job. On the other hand, don't wanna' burn any bridges. We ALL know what happened when the economy tanked the last time...
I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter.

Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
