Re: Thoughts of Randomness VI
I am so tired now. Need to vent.
I had lunch with a good friend, needed to catch up, I don't think I spoke a word besides my order and please to more coffee which should have been Captain instead.
She is a Holier than Thou Christian, over the top with church and bible studies, kids need to be in a Christian environment and not in pagan public schools. She prays for everyone. A Good Christian Lady, right?
OMG! Didn't know the President was the spawn of the devil, had an odd take on Mandela. Schools are horrible,
beyond vested in her sons high school football, her DH is useless around the house, her kids are walking angels, if you don't have health insurance-oh well-just lazy, livid we have gay marriage in our state now and I could likely think of more but my brain hurts.
My friend, who once was a sweet, caring person, is obsessive compulsive about everything and is like this from morning till dusk. I now scroll right past her twitter tweets 'cause there are hundreds of posts a day about the evil government, guns, stupid educators etc., her only focus all day long is to find more bazaar ways to work herself up 6 days a week then tweet and then is off to church or Bible Study after spewing hate and lack of tolerance. I wanted to go scream stop it, go build a house for Habitat.
So my question is, if I unfollow her on twitter, does the person receive a notice if I unfollowed her or is it an invisible function? Or do I just slap her silly until the stupid spills out?
Thanks for letting me rant, I'm torn between my BFF of yesteryear and the total nut job she has become. Wanted to slip some Prozac in her diet coke.
Some people are like Slinkies.
They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
