It finally warmed up today. A beautiful 60 degrees but the wind is cold! DD has her morning classes cancelled (school cancelled yesterday).

Watch- smatch..... I am not sure what their procedure- some of the outside things may be cancelled but I think it would have to get pretty bad to shut down a park.

Several days ago one Cardinal, not ours, made a comment about pushing the point of allowing priests to marry since this is a church rule not a biblical rule. It was an out of the blue comment to interject in the midst of the Pope resignation upheaval. Not that it hasn't been spoken of before, just an strange time to reintroduce the side bar topic.

Then our Cardinal spoke publicly yesterday. It seemed to bring some clarity to the real reason why our Pope might be going bye-bye and maybe that side bar topic wasn't a side bar topic after all. If true, the Church cannot take yet another hit like this under this Pope's leadership and him remain in place. The modern day 3 strikes rule. Head scratcher as to why he would sit in on picking the new Pope.

For now we are in that waiting mode for the official spin to be released. Those lightening bolts that hit St. Peters Basilica, right after the Vatican said no particular reason for resignation, now I am a believer it was no coincidence lightening struck twice that night.

I snuck in the front cab of the monorail this weekend and drove from MK to Contemporary and stopped after exiting the Contemporary. There's a catch to this.

So, you wound up going backwards on the line....unless you were on the line servicing the resorts, in which case the contemporary is the first stop, and then couldnt get off after you stopped?

only two people showed for trivia, so we couldn't play :(
