When my Sis and niece were in last month, they had bought some kind of concert ticket package. They were looking for cowboy boots when they were in for one of the upcoming concert. The closest i spend to 5000 dollars, without it being college, car, or residence related is when i go on a vacation, and its only close to that if i am going to WDW. Me and DF went to Lake George last year for a 4 day weekend and we only spent maybe 2000 on the whole thing. (We don't credit the 6 flags passes because they can be used outside of the vacation)

Did she get the mega ticket. It'a pretty a ticket where you get tickets to every major country ticket that is coming to blossom over summer. It was sold out by the time I went to buy mine. I can get them on stub hub but it is crazy how much they are. A ticket that normal cost about 150 is now at 350.

It is a whole different life I live form my Sis.
My DD's University off the rack is around $30,000 a year, my nieces KPrep-12 College Prep school for girls, $25,000 a year. I can't wrap my brain around the money they have spent in her first 12 years of schooling. So a mini shopping spree in a couple of hours, a drop in the bucket for them.

Oz, The Great and Powerful
It was goood!!! 3D was lacking in popping out at you, which was surprising since this was filmed with 3D cameras and made for both formats. I guess you just can't expect Philharmagic, despite the shortcomings of 3D, THE MOVIE WAS GREAT! We were pleased with it and the many nuances.
Going to bed, my son has advised me I must be up early all week.

University of IL
Service Employees Inter
national Union Local 73, which represents close to 800 building and food service workers on the Urbana campus, has been negotiating with the university since last summer and will go on strike at midnight.

In the meantime, university spokeswoman Robin Kaler said other employees will need to cover some of those tasks, like serving food in student dining halls.Psst, serving is easy, cooking and washing dishes, pots and pans, not so easy for managers to cover. Duh.
“We have prioritized all the essential services, and we’ll just be moving people around to maintain those,” Kaler said.
Oh this is going to be interesting.
The workers clean classrooms, labs and dorm rooms; take out the trash; clean bathrooms; prepare food in university dining halls; cater special events; and deliver campus mail, among other tasks, said union spokesman Ricky Baldwin.
Wonder if they the students will receive a rebate? lol

Pixie Dust to boy and family, 13 year old found unresponsive in Pop Century Pool and they were performing CPR until rescue units arrived, transported boy about 10 minutes late to Celebration Hospital. Prayers.
