    How I spent my Monday.

Yesterday Mr. iwannabeminnie and I accompanied the local high school Pep band to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH. Here are some of the observations and conclusions we drew:

    1. We are very spoiled at WDW. WHEN* we stand in line, we expect to be entertained.

    2. There are no FASTPASSES* at Cedar Point.

    3. There is no EARLY ENTRY* at Cedar Point.

    4. The food at WDW way surpasses anything you can get at Cedar Point.

    5. Women whose bellies are bigger than their boobs should really consider wearing shirts that at least meet the tops of their pants.

    6. We are getting old. (We stopped to look at several photos taken of us while on various rides. Mr. iwannabeminnie commented that they made us look really old. Well---DUH, honey! We ARE old.)

    7. Next year we think we will let somebody else sponsor this trip.

*The lines were WAY too long yesterday with the heat and humidity. Mr. iwannabeminnie did NOT get to ride Millenium Force or Top Thrill Dragster. The wait was two hours for each of them. We were hot and miserable and couldn't stand the thought of spending that much time in line.

I agree, being from Ohio about 2 hours or so south of Cedar Point, would much rather be at Disney World.

But you have to admit that the Cedar Downs ride/carrousel makes it worth going to the park for...lol
Sorry I am a carrousel nut and absolutely love this ride and there is never a long wait for it...
We are going to take some time next year to go there...even tho my dd will only be 3 1/2..from what I understand they have a unique way of doing a babyswap by stopping at guest services as you enter the park you only need to pick up a ..umm..'swap'(not sure what they call 'em) card. Eliminates the hassle of having to explain to each attendant that you need to do it-just show them the card...The one thing I wish Disney would implement. It would be sooooooo much easier....
BTW....The Mean Streak Rules!....lol ...well as wooden coasters go anyway

Oh...the shirt thing....eeeeewwww...I hate when women(or men for that matter) do that. Especially in a place they know kids will be...have some decorem. Don't they know that I will probably have to take my child to thereapy for seeing that...ugg

It's a Disney thing. If you understood, your only question would be "can I go?"

Then don't take your kids to the WDW water parks. Just imagine the same thing, but in a two-piece. . . .
What I say 100 times each day:
"It's not a Disney Resort even though it's on Disney property!"

I didn't even bring up the people in sandals who it seems have NEVER cared for their feet in any way, shape, or form.
