So far the highest in town is $2.99. I see several going down already but I am sure they will be back up because of Labor Day. Averages range in Tx from $2.51 in Corpus to $2.99 in smaller towns . I am sure there are places that are more since this is a weekly average.

Astrodome is full of refugees and they are being placed in Dallas, San Antonio, and a bunch of other towns. Our town is even getting some. We only have one child who has enrolled in schoo so farl but they think we will have up to 100 coming in.

Gas has gone up in Kissimmee by .10 a gallon overnight! From $2.81 to $2.91.

So far could only find these two numbers in ref to price gouging:
    FL Hotline 1-866-966-7226
    NY Hotline 1-800-214-4372
You can call these numbers to report suspected price gouging at gas stations. Other (and possibly better) option is to dial your state attorney general directly, check in your phone book or search online. The state attorney generals are the ones in charge of things like this.

On Long Island, prices for regular range from $2.99 to $3.19 from what I can see. Jersey is always a little more pricey, but it is true that gas stations in Jersey can only up their prices once a week.

Good luck to you all and remember that no one really needs an Escalade.

FYI: I live in NJ and the once a week hike is a big fat lie. That what these gases station are suppose to do but their not. They have change prices at least 2-3 times a day. Yesterday when I left for work it was $2.74 by the time I got home $3.07 today it was $3.29 this is all at the same station. They are changing the price everday. The only cheap gas is on the Garden State Parkway and the lines for those are nothing short of crazy.

I dread filling up tonight. No telling how much it will be. Who would have thought that $2.50 would be considered "cheap" gas.
