    Downtown Disney Area Hotels

Does anyone know where I can find a list of the hotels in that area? And they ARE on Disney property, right?

We're trying to figure out if there's a Marriot there. My beau has enough points so that we can stay for free!

There is no Marriott among the Downtown Disney hotels. Yes they are on Disney property, but like Shades of Green, they are not Disney hotels, even though they are on Disney property. Their transportation and participation with Disney events and programs (like Extra Magic Hours) varies. You can call the WDW reservation line to check availability at any of the Downtown Disney hotels.
There is a huge Marriott World Center sitting right outside the WDW property line.

I have reservations at the Doubletree near DTD. Very anxious to see if anyone here has any reviews.
    It's been too long!!!!!

I know a little about the Doubletree DTD. I knew someone that worked over there for their second job when I worked at the Grovesnor.

    Pretty nice, big rooms.
They have 1 restaurant. . . . not that great from what I hear.
They have pretty good transport to the parks every 30 min. Downtown Disney bus starts in the evening at 6 or 7pm (just like all the DTD hotels).
They don't have Extra Magic Hours (only the DTD Hilton does).
They took quite a bit of damage from last year's hurricanes so if your room smells musty or funky that's why.

Not exactly a review. . . . hope it helps.
