He wants to go on Test Track, so I say space mountain.
Ok, I am very very excited about being able to bring my boyfriend along on my WDW trip in November since he has NEVER been before. I want this to be a memorable and magical experience for him. So how do I start it off right?
I'm trying to think of ways to get him excited.
And I'm trying to think of what ride to get him on first.
I know I'll take him to the Magic Kingdom on our first day. He wants to go to Epcot instead though. Wants to ride Test Track. I firmly told him that since he has NEVER EVER been, he HAS to go to MK first! Plus, its tradition. We always go to MK on the first day of our trip.
So what do you guys think would be the best ride to get him on first thing in the morning, to start his vacation off right?? Splash Mountain, POTC, HM? Gimme ideas folks!
oh, and his all time favorite character is Donald, so I was thinking maybe me & my little sister would take him to a character breakfast one day that week!

I say nothing beats the walk down Main Street, then take a right, head to tomorrowland, and do Space Mountain!
Also maybe plan a "special" meal that day....A guys meal, maybe Liberty Tree Tavern? I don't know, maybe have him look online or something and maybe you can figure something out.
Of course, he might also love EPCOT-Test Trak, Mission Space, etc....Have fun!

Okay I took my BF for his first trip in NOV of last year too. He bascially had no choice as to what to go on first I just took him to the Magic Kingdom and we kinda of just kick around. Now if I remember this right I think the first ride we got on was Buzz Lightyear. I know it kinda of kiddiesh but he actually liked it. Plus the line was very short (he doesn't like to wait that a whole other thread on how that went down) but anyway as far an introduction take him on Space Mtn. first then kinda of let him pick and choose what he wants to ride.
If he anything like my BF as far as the waiting in long lines and whining about how long they are warn him ahead of time and tell him there is always fastpass. For some strange reason the BF thought it was the best thing since slice breadhe wierd I know but hey he mines and I love him
. Plus there always Extra Magic Hours so take advantage of that(You have to be staying on site to use this).
Also if you are staying on site contact Disney Florist http://www.disneyflorist.com/ and have something sent to your room. I had them make up a great welcome basket with Mickey Ears, a camera, some shaving things he likes, a photo album and a few other things. It was such a nice welcome to Disney espically since it was his first time and it was in the room when we got there. If you need more suggestion just ask me and I will be more than glad to help. Have fun![]()
3 for Space Mountain!
If this keeps goin in this direction, we're gonna have a nutty vacation. we always head straight for Peter Pan's Flight as soon as we arrive at MK! Hmmm... what about Mickey's Phillharmagic? Would that be a good place to start since he likes Donald so much?

If you want to dine with Donald, go with Donald's Breakfastosaurus in Animal Kingdom. But make your Advance Reservation now!
Go with Splash Mountain first thing. Great theming, magical music, and a thrilling end, just like the Magic Kingdom but condensed into 1 ride!
What I say 100 times each day:
"It's not a Disney Resort even though it's on Disney property!"
Yes! I LOVE Philharmagic and if you want to take him to fantasyland, start off with a nice, early show featuring Donald! I think he would like that a lot. Then, yes, go to Peter Pan (also my fave!) and say hello to my good friend Wendy for me!![]()
