SNOW!! Who loves it?

I love snow. Its the 1st snow out right now where i am and im so excited about it. Yea its gonna make driving tomorrow horrible even though there really isnt a lot of snow. People just dont konw how to handle the 1st snow of the season. But im still really excited about it. Who else is, or is waiting for snow, or wishes that it snowed where they reside?

I can't wait to get back home to good ol CT so I can get out of this stupid heat... it should NOT be 70-80 degrees in mid-November! - Gross!

I love to see snow. It's fun to play in, fun to watch fall, and yes... I even enjoy shoveling it. I even shovel for my neighbors if they haven't already beat me to it. And X-Mas just isn't X-Mas without at least a dusting on the ground!

Of course, I can also understand and sympathize with those of you who suffer through 7 month winters and the such. I guess in such a situation, even I would grow tired of it eventually.

I love snow too!! Everything looks beautiful covered in a blanket of snow - everywhere looks so peaceful too!! I love it when the ground is covered and the snow is fulling - silently - to the ground: It is just wonderful!!

... It is just a shame that where I live, we very, very seldom see any!! It may snow lighty from time to time, but never in great quantities to stick!!

It finally got a little bit cold here today in Atlanta with this rain. I think we are in the 60's now. But snow....not at this time of year.

Oh, and this city SHUTS DOWN when it "snows" (we get slush, ice, never really real snow). It is a madhouse, like people are gonna be stuck in their homes for days - yeah, ok, you all know it will melt by tomorrow....

I also have plenty of snow for sale. We had our first "snow" the other day, and also had some coming down this morning.

It is lovely, but after Christmas and my "White Christmas", I am done with it. Problem is, I live in NOrhtern Michigan, and will have another 4 months or so of it!

I live in Florida for a reason. I have an irrational fear of cold. I moved from one warm place to another, Southern California to South Florida. I've seen snow ummm twice in my life and I think I'm good. It's pretty but definately not my thing. I wouldn't mind it if I could just look at it from the cozy indoors but the whole part where you have to go outside eventually is what gets me.

Well, I am a little disappointed. I thought this thread was all about me! LOL

Growing up on Colorado, I was used to walking to school in the snow. Living in Texas now, we don't get a lot of snow. We get more ice than anything so I do miss snow. I do love to watch the kids in it and them play. We can never find the gloves but they have discovered you can use socks-bunches of them

Would love to have a white Christmas.
