Prayers & Pixie Dust needed

Hi gang,
Just a couple of quick prayer/pixie dust requests...

My Dad's Uncle Bill was killed suddenly this past Monday. Please keep my Dad, my Grandpa (it was his brother who he also lived with), and the rest of our family in your thoughts and prayers. The visitation is today at 1:00 pm, followed by the funeral.

Second, one of my Mom's uncles is having a heart catheterization some time this week. This is also something that has come up suddenly, so please keep my Great Uncle Roger and his wife in your thoughts and prayers as well.

It is tough to have these kind of things happen around holiday times, when you want to spend lots of family time together.

Oh man Bobby I'm so sorry to hear of your families lost. Please keep in mind that you have another family here that loves you and will send all the prayers and thoughts your way.

Hi gang,

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I really needed it last week, as did my family. My Great Uncle Bill's funeral service was very good Wednesday. The pastor did an excellent job and really lifted my spirits.

It was nice to see so many people in my extended family on my Dad's side that I don't always get to see.

Please continue to pray for my grandfather.

He was really having a hard time and is going to miss his brother immensely. I felt so bad seeing him so upset, it was the first time I had ever seen him cry.

I wanted to stop by and see him this morning on my way to work, but he wasn't at his service station yet. Maybe I can this afternoon.

As for my Mom's Uncle Roger, it turned out he didn't have to have a heart catheterization. Instead, his doctor found that he had a clogged artery in one of his kidneys. I haven't heard yet what's going on with that, but hopefully I'll talk my my grandparents sometime soon and see what they know. Again, if you could please continue to pray for him and his wife Ruby.

Thanks for all the support everyone! You truly are the BEST "family" I could ask for!

Hey PJ, glad things are going better. I'm glad the funeral was a good one (WHAT an oxymoron!) and that you got to see some long lost relatives. It's a shame that we wait until something horrible happens to keep in touch.
