The Official 2005 DWT Forum Awards Nomination Thread

This is it, the momment we have all been waiting for, which we begin the process of recognizing the best, brightest, and biggest posts and posters of the past year. Start getting your ball gowns and tuxs together, but first we need the nominees........

The Rules For Nomination

you can not nominate yourself.
you may nominate as many people as you would like for as many awards as you would like.
you do not have to nominate people for each and every award.
an individual needs 2 separate nominations to be up for an award.

please note - these rules are subject to amendment at any time with no prior knowledge or warning

and now, the categories we are nominating for:

Best Game Thread Award
For the thread/creator who came up with the best game of the year.

Best Disney Related Thread
This award will go to the thread/creator that was on the subject of Disney, and was the most popular and memorable this past year.

Best Non-Disney Related Thread
This award will go to the thread/creator that was the mot popular and memorable, and had nothing to do with Disney

Most Memorable Moment in the Forums
This award is for anything during the past year that either inspired, was memorable, or just popular. That one thread that moved, touched, effected, whatever, everyone on the site

Best Photo Album
This goes to the member with the best photo album, created this past year. Photos prior to 2005 are not to be considered for this award, only albums and photos posted during this year.

Most Knowledgable on Disney Trivia - The "Triviteer" Award
This goes to the individual who is the embodiment of Disney World Trivia. The person that Lou sits back and thinks "darn, and i thought i knew a lot."

Best Review
For the individual who posted the best review about a trip, ride, dining/restaurant, or anything Disney related.

The Villian Award
My personal favorite, this goes to the person who you feel should be made to walk the plank, or just shot out of a canon, or you had wanted to have unspeakable things happen to them for whatever reason.

The Princess Award
The equivalent of the MVP of the forums, just for the girls. This should be a female that embodies the spirit of Disney, and genuinely contributed and added something special to the forums this year.

The Prince Award
Same as the Princess Award, except for the boys. The male on the forum who is full of the Disney spirit, and brought added value to the forums.

Nominations will be accepted until December 18th, which nominations will be closed and the voting threads will be opened, with roughly 2 weeks to vote. Winners will be announced on or about Jan 1st.

maybe even a temporary sub-forum under General Discussions for the 2005 DWTs, or as i'm calling them, "The Louies"

i was going to hold off on my nominations and see what others put, but i'm going to throw down my gauntlet now for Best Villian.

from personal experiences, i nominate Jackknife and Diamond.

remember, it's all in good spirit and fun.

I would also like to nominate GaRain for parts I, II, and III for this category. Although her trip was in October 2004, her report wasn't filed until Feb 2005 so that should count right? Informative...yet entertaining!
